He Was So Scared!!

When Archie was younger he was timid around kids on scooters, bicycles and a skateboard. He would often hide behind my legs or jump out of the way. This made him scared of kids. He would even shake when a kid asked to pet him. It broke my heart!

This was before my Daughter was even born! So you could imagine we were thinking about how he would be around her.

When we brought Gracelyn home for the first time, Archie went to go hide under the kitchen table. That was his first time ever doing that!

Archie didn't know what to think about this small 10lbs baby that is now in his home. I can't blame him because he only knew Taylor and I.

A few days later and Archie started to put his head onto her when she was napping. It was the cutest.
10 months later, Archie and Gracelyn spend the majority of the day together. He loves when she crawls over to him, or sits near him.

Archie is a lot more comfortable around other kids, scooters, bicycles and skateboards. He was even wagging his tail the other day when kids asked to pet him.

Who knew that a 10 month old baby would be able to help a 75lbs Golden Retriever overcome his fear of scooters and kids.

It's a beautiful sight to see.  I can't wait to see Gracelyn grow up with her best friend Archie. He's going to love all the attention he gets from her and her friends.
