Andi and I got into protein shakes about 7 years ago.
It was around that time that I found Tony Horton and Andi found Chalene Johnson.
The first time we tried shakes, Andi made them like you would a cup of coffee.
She placed a scoop in a glass, added water and stirred. It wasn't great. We then discovered that it should have been BLENDED. And adding fruit.
We found that adding frozen bananas made the shakes soooooooooooooo good!!!.
One day .. Andi made us our breakfast shake and it was the most disgusting thing I'd ever tasted. She swore it was protein powder, frozen banana, a little almond milk and water. It was gross!!!!! We couldn't figure out why it tasted so weird.
Guess what she realised she'd done???
Instead of adding frozen bananas to our shakes, she'd added a couple of mini vegetable spring rolls!!!!!!
To be fair .... they did look like bananas in the freezer.
It's good to sneak in vegetables into your diet whenever you can. I wouldn't recommend doing it this way though
