There isn't one single silly question - do you know why?
Buying a new home and/or selling your existing home is one of the biggest transactions of your life. For this reason, please please understand that there is no such thing as a stupid question.
Before putting in an offer, before accepting an offer, before you make any kind of decision, make sure you ask your realtor as many questions as possible — and get important answers in writing. Nothing and I mean NOTHING is too silly.
As a realtor, our job is to support you and your family throughout this process and make the journey as easy and enjoyable as possible. You need to be fully informed and understand everything in respect to your potential sale and purchase.
Anyone can take a buyer out and show a home. Anyone can represent you when its time to sell your home. But it takes a great agent to really connect with a client, understand what motivates them, what’s important to them, and really make sure they are comfortable, happy and excited throughout the process.
So if you are going to use an agent, make sure you follow them on social media, stalk them, get to know them a little ahead of time, ask around, do your research and pick someone who is respected, experienced and more anything, somebody you can relate to, who perhaps has similar interests, family values, is local etc. You are going to be spending quite some time with that person so its important that you are able to connect on not just a professional level but also personally.
